| Masiero and Dalle in episode show art |
Three-and-a-half years later, and it has suddenly occurred to me 💡 that the title of Capitaine Marleau episode 23 (the one with Beatrice Dalle), instead of "The City of Souls In Pain," should be translated "The Lost Souls Project." Recall that cité, 'city,' can also mean 'housing project/estate.' The housing for the fish factory workers is a cité in both senses, and additionally Marleau's project is helping the lost souls living there. Well, that's how I see it.

Thank you for all your subtitles! And for all these post and updates, I appreciate it! I se that "On Deck" is Crime à Ramatuelle, didn't expect that, the only one "Crime à" movie/episode that is not english translated by any broadcaster.
ReplyDeleteBtw, since I've posted this comment on Captain Marleau post, there is a new episode, named "Capitaine Marleau 36-39 - La 7ème danse" by the broadcaster :)
Hahaha, as I posted this here, I noticed that english subtitled Crime à Ramatuelle will be available on TV5Monde in 10 days :)
DeleteThanks for the tips.
ReplyDeleteAt the moment, The 7th Dance is on RTBF, but it's not downloadable there. I don't bypass DRM-- so unless it's on France 2 or 3 I can't download it, I have to wait until a downloader uploads it somewhere!
ReplyDeleteI can help with that. Do you have maybe some email address where I can send you (create a new one, gmail for example, probably better that way than sharing private email here)
